A few days ago I described the exercise reflecting on the best thing that happened this day, and re-experience the sensations of that experience. Do this exercise daily and in the end of the 30 days you experience deeper and fuller sensory awareness of your life, that many people call being alive.
Today is Day 7.
Sitting in a chair in the end of my day, I looked at the clock and it is past midnight. Wow, the day went by and I have not yet posted the best thing today. I was sitting with my eyes open, staring in space and enjoying feeling tingling in my body. I am feeling my body vibrating, pulsating, like one non-solid nothingness. I feel the expansion and the contraction and then the expansion again. I take a deep breath and it sends the next wave of pulsing and tingle into my extremities, my head and my chest. No thoughts, just observing the sensations. I follow the tingle from one hand to the other. Then I follow the pulse from one foot the the other. With my attention I go from one part of my body to another, to another, to the next. Not much changes over the course of minutes, yet, everything is different. The space seems to have expanded with me. I close my eyes. My body is pulsing even stronger. I notice that I enjoy this sensation so much that I decide to write about it on my daily post about the best thing today exercise. What was the best thing for you today?
